VISION, ARTIST, CREATIVE
Inside every creative professional lies an artist or an individual who thrives in the process of creating.
In the same way that someone paints, writes, or sings, an entrepreneur makes a living by creating something unique and beautiful, something that brings value. This creative could either be a service or product and maybe a new invention, a new variation of something that already exists in the world, or bringing something beautiful back into the present world such as vintage products.
As an entrepreneur, you’re basically rocking two hats – the creative one and the entrepreneurial one. And let’s be real, entrepreneurs are like modern-day visionaries, diving into the unknown, believing in game-changing ideas, and taking risks others might shy away from! In fact, I would argue that many entrepreneurs are more creative than many creatives who work in creative fields. They see things differently and see opportunities that others do not.
Popular culture has long held an obsession with visionaries. It’s my opinion that the entrepreneurs of today are the new visionaries. The person who starts up a business, even without knowing what they are doing because they believe in an idea. They don’t need anyone else’s approval, and they truly believe that their idea will change things and are willing to take risks even when others might not agree!
Does this sound like you? Do you remember feeling pulled to create a product or offer a service?
You’re not alone. A lot of people feel that drive, and it’s because we are hardwired for it. Service is one of the core needs of humans, and when we get to fulfill that need through our work, it feels amazing. This is why entrepreneurship is a lifestyle for me. I am constantly in service to others and my creative soul demands it.
Sure, the entrepreneurial journey isn’t always a walk in the park, but oh, the satisfaction of seeing your vision come to life and making a real impact – that’s what makes it all worthwhile. Being an entrepreneur is a creative process.
For me, being an entrepreneur is more than a gig; it’s a lifestyle. It’s about serving others and letting that creative spirit run wild.
